Our Story

In 2016, visionary graduates of IIT Delhi embarked on a noble mission to confront a silent yet pervasive threat: the noxious soot emissions originating from diesel generators, which endangered the very air we breathe. Chakr Innovation's inception was rooted in this lofty cause, resulting in a remarkable journey

This journey led to the creation of Chakr Shield 1.0 in 2017 and the establishment of a manufacturing plant in Pune's Hinjewadi in 2019.

Chakr achieved a significant milestone in 2021 with Chakr Shield 2.0, a patented marvel that harnessed catalyst-based technology to combat environmental pollution. In September 2022, Chakr made history as India's first company to secure Type Approval for their product line.

In December 2022, the Dual Fuel Kit solidified Chakr's position as India's foremost turnkey solution provider. Chakr now boasts a diverse product portfolio, operates two advanced manufacturing facilities, and maintains multiple offices, led by a world-class team of engineers, scientists, and visionaries.
